Scottish Design Leads Global Mandarin Project

E-Learning Website To Be Delivered For Chinese Education Bureau

We are excited to announce another first for East West in 2018 that also takes a step forward with our aims to bring Chinese business back into the UK & Scotland. We secured the strategy and project management role to oversee the business planning and delivery on the design of a major new e-learning platform for our China based government client.

East West haven been appointed by the Sichuan Chinese Education Bureau, a government department who represent 30 universities with over 1.2 million students plus a larger number of high and primary level schools in the province. The Bureau approached us as they wanted western know how with regards to web development, marketing and an introduction to a Scottish based design firm to deliver a western styled look to their site.

The P4P Design Team

After a tendering process, experienced and employee owned Glasgow design agency P4P Creative won the brief. A few days later they started working on a brand identity for the ' Instant Mandarin ' project. A logo and web site design for their e-learning site to teach Mandarin to the west, soon followed. On the final leg, the Instant Mandarin site will be coded up in China, delivering a truly joint Scottish / Chinese project.

With the design files in the hands of the coding company, we are targeting the site to be live by the end of June 2018. Once testing is complete, we will post links and display the brand identity and web page designs in a separate post.
